Medical Assistant - Podiatry
Our busy podiatric medical practice is seeking an energetic, self-motivated Medical Assistant with a positive, professional manner to become part of our close-knit team. Applicants must have a valid driver's license and their own reliable transportation. Must be able to travel to all four of our office locations in Tacoma, Spanaway, Puyallup and Gig Harbor. Tacoma Narrows Bridge Tolls will be paid by Pacific Podiatry Group.
Duties include rooming patients, taking medical histories, inputting information into the EMR, taking x-rays - both traditional and digital - and dispensing medical equipment such as boots and splints. The assistant is responsible for providing excellent patient care while maintaining a smooth work flow throughout the day. Applicants must have strong people skills and be able to work well with patients of all ages as well as fellow staff members.
Podiatry experience is a plus, but training will be provided. New graduates strongly encouraged to apply!
