The Staff Pad is looking for a Maintenance Plumber in Helena, Montana to join a healthcare organization.
JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining pipes, valves, fixtures, drainage systems and other plumbing used for water distribution, wastewater disposal, steam distribution, and medical gas distribution. The Maintenance Plumber (the Plumber) performs scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance, inspections, and site surveys, and responds to, diagnoses and resolves plumbing emergencies. The Plumber is skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade and completes light construction work as required. This position requires knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices. This position requires the ability to read and follow blueprints, rough drawings, building plans and repair manuals. The Plumber requires familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE : Knowledge and minimum of 5 years of experience in plumbing required.
EDUCATION : High school diploma, GED or HiSET equivalent required.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY : MUST HAVE Medical Gas endorsement license. Valid and active license issued by the Montana Board of Plumbers required.
