Position: Marketing Intern

Location: Remote / South Bend, IN

Pay: $14/hour Estimated 10-15 hours per week

Position Overview:

We are seeking a creative and motivated Marketing Intern to join our dynamic team.

This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing

within the sports and events industry. The ideal candidate is passionate about sports,

innovative marketing strategies, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns to promote our gameday products and services.
• Support the creation and management of content for social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the gameday and tailgating industry.
• Help in crafting compelling email marketing campaigns using platforms like apollo.io and Active Campaigns
• Collaborate with the design team to create engaging visuals and promotional materials.
• Monitor and analyze marketing metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and suggest improvements.
• Assist in coordinating events and promotional activities, both on-campus and virtually.
• Engage with customers and fans to gather feedback and enhance the overall customer experience.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions and bring fresh ideas to the team.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Strong passion for sports, especially football and gameday culture.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in social media platforms and content creation tools such as Canva.
• Basic understanding of email marketing platforms and strategies.
• Creative thinking and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Previous marketing or event planning experience is a plus.
