Marketing Copywriter - Digital Learning at UT Digital Learning at UT is seeking a talented Marketing Copywriter to join our marketing team. This position will be responsible for creating persuasive and high-quality copy for various marketing materials across multiple platforms. You will collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop content strategies, produce captivating copy, and ensure consistency in messaging that resonates with our target audience. The Ideal candidate will have a creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas and translate them into compelling, concise copy.This role seeks to advance UT’s mission by collaborating with diverse teams, creating forward-thinking and thoughtful experiences that support the UT and Digital Learning overall strategy and goals. The copywriter reports to the Director of Visual and Digital Design for Digital Learning at UT ensuring brand alignment and integrity.
Qualifications
Primary Duties Include Writes clear, concise, and compelling brand copy for owned, paid, and social channels.Develops written content to support marketing campaigns and initiatives.Collaborates with the design team to ensure copy and visual elements work harmoniously to convey key messages and brand identity.Supports continual improvements in SEO practices and information architecture through research; including keyword research, title recommendations, and content best practices on our most visible platforms.Develops guidance, key messages, and talking points to help colleagues within Digital Learning incorporate compelling brand messaging into their work.Leads content audits, gathering and updating existing content from multiple sources, and identifying and filling content gapsReviews copy drafted by others for campaigns and initiatives and provides feedback.
Education and Experience Required: Associates degree in communications, PR, marketing, English, creative writing, or related field and at least four years OR bachelor's degree in communications, PR, marketing, English, creative writing, or related field and at least two years of professional experience directly related to duties and responsibilities specifiedPreferred: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in communications, PR, marketing, English, creative writing, or related field with experience working as a member of a marketing team. This position is listed as a hybrid position.
