Ammonia Technician / Maintenance Technician – 3rd Shift
💰 $35-$40/hr | 🕙 10PM-6AM, Mon-Fri (OT Available) | 📍 Bartlett, IL
Ammonia systems don’t sleep, and neither do we. That’s why we need an experienced Ammonia Technician to own the night shift. If you can handle 22,000+ lbs of ammonia, six boilers, and a maze of compressors, keep reading.
What You’ll Be Doing:
🔧 Inspect, test, and repair ammonia refrigeration systems
💨 Keep wastewater and air compressors in check
🔥 Restart boilers (when they decide to take a nap)
⚙️ Preventative maintenance when ammonia work is caught up
🏗️ Basic facility maintenance—doors, heating, AC, you name it
What You Need to Bring:
✅ 3+ years of ammonia refrigeration experience
✅ Operator Level 1 minimum (Level 2 = gold star)
✅ Can work independently on 3rd shift (after training, of course)
✅ Knows their way around an electric meter & motor wiring
✅ Understands blueprints & can troubleshoot electrical circuits
