Location: Atlanta, GA
Job Type: Short-term Project. From 08/25 to 08/29. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of low-voltage systems, including but not limited to data cabling, security systems, CCTV, access control, fire alarms, and audio/visual systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, terminate, and test low voltage cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber optics, coaxial, etc.)
Set up and configure security systems such as CCTV, access control, and intrusion alarms
Perform installation and programming of fire alarm and audio/visual systems (if applicable)
Troubleshoot and repair existing systems and infrastructure
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and wiring schematics
Qualifications:
1–3 years of experience in low voltage installation or a related field
Strong understanding of network cabling standards and practices
Familiarity with tools such as cable testers, toners, drills, and hand tools
Ability to read and understand technical documents and blueprints
