We are looking to add a Low Voltage Cable Technician to become part of our team!

You will install new cat6 cable in commercial buildings and data communication systems.

Responsibilities:

• Installation and maintenance of communication systems
• Install voice and video configurations to minimize communication disruptions.
• Investigate customer issues and design appropriate solutions.
• Be punctual and responsible to work on your own.
• Relocate telephone and computer cabling (run new cables when necessary)
• Rack switches bring headend up online
• terminate and certify cables

​ Qualifications:

Be able to travel out of state for one/two weeks at a time

Previous experience in telecommunications

• experience 2 years at least must be able to work with little supervision.
• Familiarity with low voltage cable, terminating 568B jacks.
• be able to read prints and follow scope of work.
• primarily working in hospitality environments
• scissors lift experienced. (helpful)
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
