Our team thrives on delivering innovative solutions, pushing boundaries, and turning ideas into unforgettable moments.

We’re looking for a Live Events Production Manager to be a driving force behind the seamless execution of live events at the iconic George R. Brown Convention Center . You’ll be the vital link between our sales and operations teams, ensuring every project goes above and beyond client expectations. From managing budgets to leading technical crews and executing flawless on-site events, your leadership will be key to delivering success.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own Event Execution: Lead all aspects of live event production, from pre-production planning to on-site management.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Develop and supervise production budgets while ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently to meet goals.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with sales, creative, and technical teams to ensure smooth communication and project coordination.
  • Vendor & Staff Coordination: Manage contractors, unions, and freelance staff, ensuring each contributor plays their part in bringing the event to life.
  • Quality Assurance: Initiate and uphold strict quality control measures to ensure events are delivered flawlessly.
  • Maximize Profitability: Oversee project budgets to maximize profit while ensuring every event meets client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage production budgets and ensure the financial success of each project.
  • Lead and coordinate vendors, staff, and resources to ensure the highest quality event delivery.
  • Lead production scheduling and regular status meetings to track progress and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to assist with client communication, budgeting, and financial tracking.
  • Ensure adherence to event planning protocols and company standard operating procedures.
  • Provide leadership during production and technical walkthroughs to ensure on-time, on-budget event delivery.

Who You Are:

  • Experienced Leader: You have 5+ years of experience in a production company, marketing firm, or creative agency, with a strong background in show production (theater, live music, or similar).
  • A Strategic Thinker: You’re not just about getting things done—you’re about getting them done right. You have a knack for big-picture thinking while keeping an eye on the details.
  • Team-Oriented: You’re passionate about collaborating and inspiring others, whether working with internal teams, contractors, or clients.
  • Results-Driven: You thrive in fast-paced environments and take pride in delivering exceptional results.
  • Skilled in Production: You bring a deep understanding of technical and creative production, including stage construction, rigging, and carpentry (a plus if you’re familiar with Vectorworks or AutoCAD).

What You’ll Bring:

You’re a strategic communicator , a problem solver , and a proven leader with a track record of exceeding expectations. Your passion for live events fuels your drive to bring the best out of every project and team. You’ll not only represent our brand but also influence the direction of live events in our industry.

At Staging Solutions , you’ll be part of a vibrant, creative team that values collaboration, innovation, and delivering extraordinary results. We’re proud of our company culture, and we hope you’ll share that pride with us as we create unforgettable experiences for our clients.
