Job Details

Provide comprehensive paralegal support to attorneys handling civil litigation matters, primarily in the areas of insurance defense and personal injury defense.

• Draft, file, and manage pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, and legal correspondence.
• Organize, review, and summarize medical records, depositions, and other case-related documents.
• Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and other litigation materials.
• Manage and maintain case files in compliance with court and firm procedures.
• Coordinate with clients, experts, and witnesses as needed.
• Conduct factual and legal research to support case preparation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in litigation, preferably with a focus on insurance defense or personal injury defense.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple cases with limited supervision.
• Strong knowledge of Texas state and federal court rules and filing procedures.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with legal practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred:

• Paralegal certification from an ABA-approved program.
• Prior experience supporting attorneys through all phases of trial preparation.

This is a great role for a self-motivated and knowledgeable litigation paralegal who enjoys being a key part of a collaborative legal team.
