*Licensed Special Education Intervention Specialist*

*Location:* Global Connection Academy (GCA) Thompson, OH
*Position Type:* Full-time or Part-time

*Position Overview*

As Global Connection Academy continues to align its SPED program with best practices and credentialed service delivery, we are seeking a *licensed Special Education Intervention Specialist* to provide direct special education services in a compliant, well-structured environment.

This role focuses on high-quality instruction, accurate documentation, and collaboration with school leadership to ensure services are delivered appropriately and sustainably.

*Key Responsibilities*

* Provide direct special education services aligned with student IEPs
* Implement evidence-based interventions and monitor student progress
* Participate in IEP development and service documentation
* Maintain accurate, timely records aligned with applicable requirements
* Collaborate with teachers, service providers, and school leadership
* Follow established protocols for supervision, documentation, and reporting

*Required Qualifications*

* Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License
* Experience delivering direct SPED services
* Strong understanding of IEP implementation
* Ability to maintain compliant documentation
* Professional judgment and collaborative mindset

*Preferred Qualifications*

* Experience in private or alternative school settings
* Familiarity with scholarship-funded SPED programs
