Job Description

Memorial Community Health, Inc. is looking to fill the position of either Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medication Aide (MA) at our assisted living facility, East Park Villa. This position is for full time, 12-hour shifts with every 4th weekend.

*Responsibilities and Duties*
* Utilizes the nursing process, for the performance of resident care to assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care.
* Responds to call lights and resident needs in a timely manner.
* Works effectively with ancillary areas as part of the team approach to patient care.
* Directs patient support team members effectively and appropriately.
* Demonstrates initiative and flexibility in the provision of resident care.
* Oversees care delivery and staffing needs and assignments on the nursing unit.
* Serves as a resident advocate.
* Works effectively with ancillary areas as part of the team approach to resident care.

*Qualifications and Skills*

Graduate of an accredited school/college of nursing

Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Nebraska

Currently licensed as a Medication Aide in the State of Nebraska

Basic Life Support (BLS) required

Familiarity with assisted living care, safety and sanitation standards and procedures
Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
