Description
· Performs the following surveys: boundary, control, topographic, construction layout and staking, environmental mapping, GPS/GIS surveys, and land surveying
· Completes the field work by performing the survey functions
· Future potential to perform some of the survey tasks in the office – CAD experience is a plus
Requirements:
· Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in land surveying will be considered
· Minimum 1 year experience as a land surveyor. Experience with the use of GPS a must; experience with Drones, Robotic Total Station and data collectors a plus. Experience with Construction layout also a plus.
· Ability to communicate professionally orally and in writing, read and interpret survey maps and construction plans
· Good driving record
· Perform heavy lifting up to 50+ lbs
· Possess sufficient stamina to work in outdoor (hot & cold) environment
