Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough customer due diligence (CDD) investigations by analyzing client profiles, transactions, and related documentation to assess risk levels accurately.
• Perform enhanced due diligence (EDD) on high-risk clients, including individuals and entities, to provide an in-depth understanding of their activities and potential risk factors.
• Utilize various internal and external data sources to gather information, verify identities, and identify discrepancies or red flags.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including AML, Compliance, and Legal, to ensure consistent application of KYC and AML policies and procedures.
• Make informed risk assessments and recommendations based on the analysis of collected data, presenting findings to senior management when necessary.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks related to KYC and AML practices.
• Assist in the development and enhancement of KYC/CDD/EDD processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Document investigation results, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with record-keeping requirements.
• Participate in training and knowledge-sharing initiatives to enhance the team's expertise and stay up-to-date with best practices.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of AML experience with experience doing the following functions
• Bilingual - English & Spanish preferred
• Knowledge of BSA/AML policies and procedures
• Hybrid opportunity requires office present
