Job Description: Junior Software Engineer The Junior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering software components in collaboration with other engineers. Key responsibilities include: Software Development: Participating in writing efficient programs that meet business requirements and adhere to coding standards. This includes maintaining and improving existing code, identifying and solving system problems, and proposing solutions. Testing: Thoroughly testing programs to ensure they meet requirements and function correctly, following established testing standards. Collaboration & Communication: Working effectively as part of a team, contributing to a collaborative environment, and communicating effectively with colleagues. This includes documenting code clearly for maintainability. Deployment & Configuration: Assisting with deployment and configuration management processes. Continuous Learning: Proactively developing skills to support team growth and progress. Problem-Solving: Generating creative solutions to address system or program issues. Required Skills and Experience: Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including design, development, and implementation using best practices. Knowledge of relevant technologies (specific technologies will vary based on team and project needs, but examples include PL/SQL, Python, Apex, and React). Adaptability to changing workplace conditions. Effective communication skills. Ability to innovate and generate creative solutions. Teamwork skills and ability to collaborate effectively. The position requires regular attendance and involves extensive computer and telephone work in an office setting. On-call responsibilities will be required at designated times, necessitating carrying a mobile phone. Compensation: The targeted salary range for this role is $26 USD per hour.
