• Job Title: Junior DevOps Engineer (AWS)
• Location: Richmond, VA (Onsite)
• Only W2
• Employment type: Fulltime
• Duration: 2 years
• Exp: 1-2 years(Entry level)
• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.

What This Role Requires:

• 1-2 years with company-based IT experience after your Bachelor’s degree
• Familiarity with any programming language, such as Python, Ruby, Go, Java, or JavaScript, is advantageous. Must have skillset in 1 programming language.
• Basic understanding of the cloud as well as networking concepts including IP addressing, subnets, and basic understanding of protocols like TCP/IP
• Basic understanding of web technologies, including protocols, DNS, and web servers.
• Familiarity with CLI in a Unix/Linux environment
• Awareness of basic virtualization concepts and technologies, such as virtual machines (VMs) and containers. Familiarity with basic cloud computing concepts would be helpful, although not mandatory.

 

To Qualify:

• You should be willing to relocate anywhere in the US on our client project-to-project basis, as this is an  on-site, in office position .
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
