Position Overview: Augmentjobs is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data analysis and a strong foundation in BI tools and techniques. As a Junior BI Analyst, you will support data-driven decision-making by gathering, analyzing, and visualizing data to provide actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze data from various sources to support business decisions. Prepare and clean data for analysis, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

• Reporting and Visualization: Create and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. Develop visualizations to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.

• Trend Identification: Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic planning.

• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to understand their data needs and provide support for data-related inquiries. Assist in developing and implementing data-driven strategies.

• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data sources, methodologies, and BI processes. Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible for future reference.

• Quality Assurance: Conduct regular data quality checks to ensure the integrity and reliability of BI reports and dashboards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

• Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in a BI or data analysis role. Proven experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or similar.

• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying. Familiarity with data modeling and database design. Knowledge of Excel and other data manipulation tools.

• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present data findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Attention to Detail: High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.

• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Data Warehousing: Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies.

• Programming Knowledge: Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R for advanced data analysis.
