Responsibilities & Qualifications Position Overview: The Jira Administrator manages the Atlassian Jira environment, supporting project tracking, service management, and reporting. This hybrid role requires 2–3 days in-person at our Atlanta headquarters. Essential Job Functions: Administer and support Atlassian tools, optimize licenses, and ensure platform efficiency. Provide governance and best practice guidance. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues. Configure Jira projects, workflows, permissions, screens, and automation. Support teams with Jira requests, training, and usability improvements. Design process improvements and automation. Collaborate with stakeholders to meet business needs. Create dashboards and reports. Manage user access and permissions. Maintain system updates, upgrades, and integrations. Ensure data integrity and documentation for audits. Provide Jira documentation and best practices. Stay updated with Atlassian product developments. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or related field. 2+ years of Jira Cloud administration experience. Experience with Confluence or other Atlassian tools. Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Hands-on Jira Automation experience. User management and SSO/Active Directory integration skills. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Detail-oriented and organized. Preferences: Atlassian certifications (ACP-100, ACP-400). Experience with REST APIs and integrations. Familiarity with SOX or compliance frameworks. ITSM concepts and tools experience. Other Skills/Abilities: Maintain confidentiality and professionalism. Work independently and manage priorities. Adapt in a fast-paced environment. Effective time management. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 15-25 pounds. Environment: Office or remote work during operating hours, in various conditions.
