Project Description: We are seeking an experienced full stack developer to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, the developer will be responsible for creating high-value experiences for deals and offers across our customer-facing channels, such as BestBuy.com and the Best Buy mobile app. The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional digital experiences to drive customer engagement. Position Summary/Job Description: As a full stack developer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality experiences to customers. You will work closely with our product partners to engineer solutions and implement them. You will be fully empowered to deliver your work from requirements to production. Develop and maintain web and mobile applications using React.js, React Native, and TypeScript. Write high-quality unit tests to ensure robust and reliable code, using tools such as Jest and React Testing Library. Implement server-side logic using Express.js and write appropriate integration tests. Have experience conducting visual testing with tools such as Cypress. Leverage GraphQL and Apollo Client for efficient data fetching and state management. Deliver high-value code from ideation to production, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards. Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, status updates, and retrospectives. Use JIRA to create, manage, and organize work tasks effectively. Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
