About the Position:
We are working with a global Am Law 50 Firm that has an immediate need for a registered funds lawyer (3 or more years of experience) to join its Chicago office as an associate and work on all aspects of fund formation, operations, and compliance. This leading practice has a global client base that includes investors, fund sponsors, and investment advisers. Responsibilities:
· Advise clients on matters related to registered investment companies including, ETFs, mutual funds, interval funds, and tender offer funds
· Advise clients on compliance with securities laws
· Draft documents including shareholder reports, prospectuses, and statements of additional information
Required Qualifications:
· 3+ years of registered funds experience
· Knowledge of applicable securities law and regulations
· Excellent academic credentials
