**Our Expectations**
SECTION I: TECHNICAL COMPETENCY
* Technical production skills are necessary and require a demonstrated ability to effectively produce design and construction documents;
* 7+ years of design experience, architecture firm experience a plus;
* Understanding of relevant codes such as state building codes, FGI Healthcare Guidelines, NFPA, IBC, ANSI 117.1, BOMA;
* Proficiency with graphics software such as Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, EnScape, and/or other 3D imaging software preferred;
* Possession of a strong moral and ethical responsibility to the principles of sustainability;
* Strong organization, multi-tasking and time management skills;
* Strong design, graphic, and presentation skills;
* Understanding of the design and procurement processes;
* Knowledge of spatial planning, ergonomics, and interior furnishings and materials;
* NCIDQ Certification preferred;
* LEED Accreditation is a plus;
* Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree from a CIDA-accredited interior design program or equivalent field of study.
SECTION II: TEAMWORK AND COLLABORATION COMPETENCY
* Excellent communication skills and a strong team ethic;
* Ability to interact professionally with office leadership and clients;
* Ability to direct and motivate work efforts of others and handle stressful situations;
* Ability to self-manage project assignments from start to finish with oversight.
