People First in Long Beach Local Team Collaboration Long Beach Memorial Medical Center is a 420-bed non-profit teaching hospital that has been recognized as a major regional provider of medical and surgical services by US News and World Report. Intensivists will rotate through both Med/Surg ICU and CVICU (depending on need). 15-bed CVICU (non-teaching service) 32-bed Med/Surg ICU, which is the teaching service with Internal Medicine residents and Pulmonary/Critical Care Fellows. EMR: Cerner with Dragon for dictation Qualifications Board-certified or board-eligible critical care physicians (MD or DO). A commitment to excellence in clinical service, with strong problem-solving abilities essential for the ICU setting. An active California medical license is preferred. Practice in the Heart of the Community Scheduling This position is part-time and works on a 7-on, 7-off schedule, with one week of days per month.
