Job Description
Attollo is seeking to hire an experienced technician to work closely with and support our rapid paced production manufacturing efforts. In this position you will be heavily involved in the day-to-day production related tasks such as building, testing, debugging, and documenting production level electronic and optoelectronic systems. Tasks might vary from day-to-day and intense attention to detail is required.
Role and Responsibilities
- Following documented process steps to assemble IDCAs (Integrated dewar and cooler assemblies).
- Being trained and training others in the manufacturing processes related to dewar assembly
- Record process data and equipment logs to identify trends, diagnose process issues, and support implementation of corrective actions to improve yield, quality, and throughput
- Communicate results and observations with Engineers
- Incoming inspection of components along with proper use of measurement tools and equipment
- Following cleanroom protocol and FOD reduction procedures
- Kitting new builds using an inventory and ERP system
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a similar environment with extensive hands-on laboratory and/or manufacturing support experience.
- English communication skills
- Attention to detail with a focus on safety and areas of improvement
- Organized and methodical
- Windows based PC experience with Outlook, Excel, and Word operation
- Willingness to wear PPE (personal protective equipment)
- Fine motor skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Can work with loosely defined requirements to complete tasks with minimal supervision
Preferred Skills
- Experience in dewar assembly, wire bonding
- Rigorous familiarity with electrical lab test electronics
- Familiarly with hand tools – wrenches, screw drivers, hex keys, etc.
- Mathematical skills with ability to perform unit conversions, manipulate decimals and fractions, calculate setpoints
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
