Description
Franklin High School is seeking a knowledgable and collaborative Instructional Coach for the 25/26 school year.
A Instructional Coach is a critical lever in improving student achievement. By working with teachers and collaborative teams in a coaching model, Instructional Coaches can ensure growth in teacher practice that results in increased student achievement. Instructional Coaches work at a system level and are assigned to schools.

Strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills including ability to exchange information on multiple levels, e.g. students, teachers, administrators, district office, parents, public
Instructional Coaches can ensure growth in teacher practice that results in increased student achievement.
Provide comprehensive instructional coaching including: planning, observing, modeling/co-teaching and providing actionable feedback.
Participate and assist in leading curriculum revision and continuous improvement process.
Collaborate with teachers and provide research-based strategies for improved instructional delivery.
Lead Systemic/Program Professional development or training.
Use data to monitor growth
Collaborate with building and district leaders regarding teacher practice
Serve as a resource in the teacher SLO process
Build strong relationships with students, teachers, administrators, and other coaches.
Position Qualifications:
Valid WI content area certification
Strong pedagogical knowledge and content expertise
3-5 years teaching experience is preferred
Previous experience coaching educators.
