The T.J.Maxx social and influencer team is looking for a subject matter expert, who is well-versed in organic social and influencer marketing to join our team. Candidates should be motivated and passionate about digital marketing with experience in brief development, content evaluation, measurement and community engagement. You will manage a team and work closely with internal and agency partners to help develop effective communication tactics, engaging content and best-in-class user experiences within each channel. Candidates must demonstrate excellent strategic thinking, communication skills, be nimble/flexible and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have an interest in retail and passion for our brand and social media. This role provides an opportunity to work on a brand that’s coveted by many with the ability to learn many facets of marketing at TJX.

Who We Are Looking For: You.

• Lead strategy development and oversee execution of social media and influencer content in partnership with brand, internal and agency partners. This includes writing briefs & supporting creative evaluation, feedback & approvals.
• Identify opportunities to position TJ Maxx as a modern, best-in-class brand for Influencer and Organic Social programming.
• Lead a high performing team of 2 full time Associates and 1 intern.
• Manage an external agency on social and influencer strategy and content development
• Oversee the development of owned social and influencer measurement reports.
• Lead community engagement strategies.
• Keep key stakeholders informed of ongoing learnings & drive optimization of content.
• Learn about the unique business model of TJX.
• Understand how digital marketing efforts and strategies drive brand affinity, awareness & consideration across current, prospective & occasional shoppers.
• Be hands on & work in a small, collaborative team environment.
• Get exposure to larger brand marketing function and opportunity to broaden your marketing skillset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field required
• 7+ years’ experience with digital marketing preferred
• Use and working knowledge of a range of social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts
• Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, social media platforms and best practices
• Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends and present key findings (quantitative and analytic skills)
• Experience using MS Excel & PowerPoint (no additional software required)
• Communication is key - strong oral and written communicator, comfortable providing clear feedback grounded in strategy
• Interest in retail and off price business
• A team player who collaborates well and enjoys building relationships with partners across multiple disciplines with ability to navigate different team dynamics
• Exhibits strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills
• Strategic & agile thinker who works well in the gray and in a fast paced environment

This position has a starting salary range of $90,200 to $115,200 per year.

Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

This position is eligible for an annual incentive.
