Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Indian dishes, including curries, biryanis, tandoori items, and appetizers, following traditional recipes. Utilize Indian cooking techniques such as roasting, braising, and simmering to enhance flavors and authenticity. Ensure all dishes are prepared according to recipes and portion control guidelines. Monitor ingredient usage, minimize waste, and maintain consistent food quality. Work efficiently across multiple stations in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following all hygiene and sanitation standards. Comply with all food safety regulations as outlined in the Food Safety Management System. Report any food safety concerns or operational issues to management. Support kitchen operations by assisting with inventory, prep work, and other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience as a cook specializing in Indian cuisine. Culinary certification or relevant training is a plus. Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine ingredients, cooking methods, and flavor profiles. Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail. Ability to work long hours on foot and in environments with varying temperatures.
