Immigration Paralegal

Growing Immigration law firm seeking an experienced paralegal with at least five years’ experience in immigration law (supervisory experience a plus).

Responsibilities and Duties

• Law and immigration research for the development of legal arguments
• Draft, review, prepare, and submit legal documents (motions, depositions, etc.)
• File documents with courts
• Case file management
• Client consultation and interviews
• Summarize cases and prepare reports for attorneys
• Oversee paralegals and legal assistants in office
• Organize and archive the documents related to completed and ongoing cases

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in employment-based immigration
• PERM, E-2/1, L1, EB-2/3, EB-1(c), AOS and familiarity with other family-based types of cases
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with little oversight
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Experience in a supervisory role managing other paralegals and legal assistants
• Knowledge of legal software
• Excellent English written skills

Job Type: Full-time in office

• Schedule 8am - 5pm
• Excellent work life balance
• Must be able to work in office on location in San Antonio, Texas

Compensation:

• $23-$25/hr (depending on experience)
• Plus incentives to reach $27+ per year
