Immigration Legal Assistant - Paralegal ATLANTA FAMILY & IMMIGRATION LAW is seeking a highly motivated bilingual Immigration Paralegal to become part of our experienced legal team! As a Paralegal, you will be expected to apply your customer service, organizational, and communication skills while displaying a positive, high-energy attitude. The successful Paralegal must have proficient knowledge of applications typically used in a legal office environment, such as billing software and databases, and internet searching skills. Knowledge of MS Office applications, specifically MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook. Well-developed and professional interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the Firm. Ability to work in a team environment with a customer service focus. This position may also be sedentary and require the employee to sit for extended periods of time Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, a Certification as a trained paralegal with 2+ years experience, or equivalent on-the-job Legal Assistant/Paralegal experience in a law firm environment will be considered. Pay will DOE. • Previous experience as a Paralegal with an immigration law firm STRONGLY desired. • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing). • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. • Experience with immigration client management/forms software such as Cerenade, EImmigration, Immigration Tracker preferred but not required. • Personal qualities: Highly motivated, highly organized, excellent communication skills, excellent research, and writing skills, ability to prioritize and multitask, deadline and detail-oriented, works well independently, works well under pressure. • Paralegal or Legal Assistant: 1 year (Required) • Immigration: 1 year (Preferred) Compensation: $38,000 - $45,000 yearly
