Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation cases from onset through post-trial.
2. Conduct legal research and factual investigation.
3. Draft and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses.
4. Review, organize and analyze complex legal documents and produce summaries.
5. Coordinate and manage the e-filing process in state and federal courts.
6. Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, judicial administrative staff, and other relevant parties as required.
7. Maintain case management system and ensure information is up-to-date and accurate.
8. Assist with trial preparation including witness lists, exhibits, and trial binders.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal, specifically with plaintiff-side cases.
2. Proficiency in drafting and filing pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses.
3. Exceptional legal writing and communication skills.
4. Experience with e-filing in state and federal courts.
5. Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
6. Proficiency in using legal research software and MS Office Suite.
7. Paralegal certification or equivalent is preferred.
