Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of experience in HVAC service management, with a strong background in estimating and managing commercial HVAC services.
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing teams and completing service projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret HVAC blueprints, technical specifications, and manuals.
  • Valid HVAC certification or licensure (as required by local regulations).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer concerns effectively.

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our service department. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience estimating and managing HVAC service projects, a strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems, and the ability to lead a team of technicians. The HVAC Service Manager will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Overseeing a team of 8 Service Technicians and 4 Plumbers.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and motivate a team of service technicians to achieve performance targets and maintain high standards of service delivery.
  • Oversee HVAC service operations, including diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance of commercial HVAC systems.
  • Estimate and provide accurate quotes for HVAC service jobs, including retrofit projects, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with customers and vendors to ensure effective scheduling and timely completion of service calls.
  • Monitor and manage service budgets, ensuring work is completed efficiently while staying within cost constraints.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, codes, and company policies.
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Prepare and review service reports, work orders, and other documentation.
  • Provide ongoing training and development for HVAC technicians to enhance skills and improve performance.
