In this role, you will commission, diagnose, and troubleshoot HVAC/DDC control systems. Responsibilities: Programming and/or troubleshooting various brands of HVAC controls products Program and load system-level controller software. Performs commissioning and system diagnostics from system-level controllers to end devices (i.e. sensors, actuators, etc) and completes all required commissioning documentation Create and update front-end graphical user interfaces (GUI) Integration with 3rd party networks / software / systems Successfully build trust / relationship as liaison / first point of contact with client Earn positive feedback from supervisors, co-workers, and clients for customer service & attitude Work safely to eliminate personal accidents and damage to other property / systems High proficiency in electrical and HVAC theory Develop KPI’s or tracking metrics for job performance

MUST HAVE:

3+ years of building automation (BAS/BMS) or commercial HVAC controls experience Experience with BAS communication protocols; BACnet MSTP, BACnet IP, N2, P1, Modbus, LON, Tridium Ax/N4 etc. Willingness to be in the field locally at client sites Possess an aptitude for electrical wiring and reading and interpreting wiring diagrams. High level knowledge of IT networks

NICE TO HAVE:

One-year technical certificate in HVAC or equivalent from an accredited institution or 2 years of experience in an HVAC related field, preferred. Experience with one or more of the following platforms: Johnson Controls, Schneider Electric, Distech, Tridium Niagara, Siemens, Trane, Delta Controls, Automated Logic, or other Interested in hearing more?
