Position Overview for the HR Specialist : - Employee Lifecycle Management: Provide comprehensive support throughout the employee lifecycle, from onboarding new hires into Workday and conducting new hire orientation, to managing I9 processing and overseeing offboarding activities. Ensure accurate and timely updates to employee information in the HRIS system.
- HR Process Oversight: Collaborate with HR, Legal, and Compliance teams to enforce VIZIO's policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations. Assist with mandatory reporting and maintain accurate records of personnel data within Workday.
- HR Support and Data Auditing: Manage contingent worker data, run reports from Workday and other HR systems, and assist in data auditing to maintain the accuracy of HR records. Document and maintain various HR processes while identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Jira Ticket Management and Problem Resolution: Review and resolve employee inquiries and requests submitted through the Jira ticketing system, offering prompt and thorough responses. Provide exceptional customer service by effectively communicating with employees, managers, and key stakeholders to address HR-related concerns.
Required Skills for the HR Specialist : - Experience and Education: A minimum of 2-3 years of related HR experience is required. A bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Experience with Workday and Jira is also preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on data management and reporting. Experience using HRIS systems, especially Workday, is highly valued for maintaining accurate employee records and supporting HR operations.
- Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for interacting with internal and external stakeholders. Strong organizational skills are required to prioritize multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-Solving and Confidentiality: Must be a proactive problem solver with the ability to present solutions clearly. The candidate should be able to maintain confidentiality, work independently, and effectively manage pressure in a team-oriented environment.

Compensation Details:
$26.92/hour to $32/hour W2. NOT OPEN TO C2C.
