As a Part-Time Housekeeper / Ambulance Driver at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital & Clinics, you will play a vital role in maintaining a sanitized and safe environment for patients and staff. Your responsibilities will include following designated cleaning assignments and procedures, ensuring that all assigned areas-furnishings, floors, and equipment-are cleaned using appropriate solutions and disinfectants to prevent disease transmission. You will also polish sinks, mirrors, and other essential equipment, and replenish supplies like soap and towels as needed. Communication is key; you'll notify supervisors when supplies are low or repairs are required.

In addition, you'll operate and maintain emergency vehicles in compliance with all laws during patient transport, working collaboratively with EMS/EVS personnel and local law enforcement to ensure quality patient care during emergencies. To excel as a Part-Time Housekeeper / Ambulance Driver at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital & Clinics, certain skills and qualifications are essential. A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required, ensuring a foundation for effective communication and understanding of procedures. Basic Life Saving Certification is necessary for responding to emergencies, while former healthcare or environmental services experience is preferred to enhance your understanding of the hospital environment. Additionally, having an EMT Certification will significantly benefit your role, as it demonstrates your capability in both emergency medical situations and safe patient transport.
