Northwest Kidney Centers seeks a Home Program Dialysis Technician II to join our Home Services Program. Shift: Full-time, Monday-Friday 8:00AM to 4:00PM Direct-care employees are required to float to other clinics, as needed, to maintain safe patient care. Purpose The Home Program Dialysis Technician (HPDT) receives direction for the delivery of patient care from the Home Program Supervisor, Home Program RN Care Manager, and Home Program Manager. The position is also responsible for operating dialysis equipment, communications with patients,staff, and outside organizations, observing safety procedures, and performing relief and/or project duties as related to the overall goals of the department and company. Treatments and decision-making are based on established procedures and practices. The Hospital Services Dialysis Technician III shall collect and report patient data according to standard NKC dialysis procedures and as directed by a registered nephrology nurse. Physical activities require the ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand walk, push, pull, lift, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions of hands, wrists, and fingers. The physical requirements include the ability to lift/move objects weighing up to 250 pounds occasionally and lift/move objects weighing up to 50 pounds frequently. Required Qualifications * Proof of High School Diploma (or GED or advanced degree) * One (1) year prior direct patient care experience with medical responsibilities * National certification as a dialysis technician (ie: CCHT) or Phlebotomy Certified. This position is eligible for an evening shift premium of $1.31/hour. This position is eligible for a weekend premium of $2.00/hour.
