We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hermetic Process Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about working with cutting-edge technology, enjoys problem-solving, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and maintaining hermetic processes to ensure the highest quality of our products. This is a position that offers significant responsibility and the opportunity to be a part of a team that is shaping the future of the engineering industry.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Hermetic Process Engineer, you will be responsible for:
1. Designing, developing, and optimizing hermetic sealing processes for our products.
2. Developing and maintaining process documentation, including work instructions and process flow diagrams.
3. Evaluating and selecting equipment and materials for hermetic assembly and packaging.
4. Collaborating with the design and production teams to ensure product and process compatibility.
5. Leading and participating in continuous improvement activities such as Kaizen events.
6. Identifying and implementing corrective actions to resolve process and product issues.
7. Conducting failure analysis and implementing corrective actions for hermetic failures.
8. Ensuring all processes meet ASME standards and other applicable regulations.
9. Working with ceramic materials and heaters, connectors, and hermetic packaging.
10. Utilizing Injection Molding and Extrusion techniques in the manufacturing process.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Hermetic Process Engineer role will have:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a process engineering role, with a focus on hermetic sealing, assembly, and packaging.
3. Strong experience with Injection Molding, Extrusion, and working with ceramic materials and heaters.
4. Familiarity with ASME standards and other applicable regulations.
5. Proven experience in leading continuous improvement activities, such as Kaizen events.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
8. Proficiency in using computer software and applications related to engineering and manufacturing.
9. A strong commitment to quality and a thorough approach to work.
10. The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and excel in a fast-paced, high-performing environment.
