Heavy Duty Equipment - Diesel Mechanic
-Yard Truck, Mule
-Tow Tractor, Toyota
Transmission, Engine
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and vehicles
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Repair or replace faulty components, such as brakes, transmissions, and engines
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on diesel equipment
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment as needed
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Skills:
- Strong automotive repair skills, with a focus on diesel engines
- Extensive mechanical knowledge and understanding of diesel systems
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
- Experience with shocks, struts, and other suspension components
- Knowledge of electrical systems in diesel vehicles
- Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation
- Competent in operating heavy equipment for maintenance purposes
R&B Fleet Services LLC is a mobile fleet maintenance company that has been operating since 2010. We primarily work with Toyota Suppliers and travel in and out of the plant on a daily basis in our fully loaded mobile trucks to maintain and repair small jobs. For larger jobs, we transport equipment over to our property where those repairs will be completed and then transported back to Toyota Premises.
We are looking for a Diesel Mechanic with extensive experience with engine, transmission, injection.
