About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Online to spearhead the expansion of its digital operations, with a particular focus on D2C and marketplace channels in new international markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the company's digital strategy, leading marketplace and territory expansion, and optimizing the customer experience across online platforms. This role demands a strategic leader with a proven track record in scaling e-commerce businesses internationally, especially in the US and UK. The Head of Online will also be tasked with P&L ownership, team leadership, and ensuring the company's digital initiatives deliver strong ROI and profitability. Applicants for the Head of Online position at the company should have extensive experience in a senior e-commerce or digital leadership role, with a strong focus on D2C and marketplace channels. The role requires a candidate with a hands-on approach to e-commerce ERP systems, preferably Plentymarkets, and expertise in managing third-party marketplaces. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, be results-driven, and possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to present to the Board. A background in digital marketing, particularly in performance marketing strategies, and a passion for digital innovation and global expansion are also essential. The Head of Online will be expected to ensure international compliance, work closely with cross-functional teams, and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
