Job Summary:

Operate haul trucks to transport rock from the quarry pit to the crusher efficiently and safely.

• None.

• Perform thorough pre-shift and post-shift inspections of the haul truck to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Report any equipment issues or needed repairs promptly to the maintenance team.
• Assist with routine maintenance and cleaning of the crushing plant and associated equipment.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of truck operation, inspections, and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with plant management and other team members to optimize operations and improve efficiency.
• Complies with applicable federal, state, and company laws, regulations, and guidelines regarding health, safety, and environmental protection.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• High value for safety and teamwork.
• Ability to work in heights and sometimes tight spaces.

• At least six months of related experience with production machinery, whether acquired in-company or elsewhere, highly preferred.

Work Environment:

• All duties will take place in an uncovered environment in which noise levels can be very high.
• There may be some assigned tasks that are exposed to the elements of all types of weather.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing, crouching, bending, climbing, stooping, reaching, twisting, pushing, and pulling to perform job.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
