If you are interested in how wine is made, the Harvest Data Entry Clerk role provides an excellent entry into the winemaking world. This role will give you a perspective into how wine is made from vine to bottle, all while working in a fun, fast-paced environment with a great team of wine enthusiasts.
Under the general direction of the Manager of Office Services and Winemaking team, this position will assist with harvest data entry for our Jackson Family Wines Oregon Production facility. This role may also perform some general office administrative duties in support of the Office Manager as needed.
This role is a seasonal position starting in late August and ending mid-November.
Specific Duties:
- Entry of cellar work orders and weigh tag information into the Bulk Inventory Management System (BIMS).
- Weighing fruit on agricultural truck scale and communication of incoming trucks to cellar staff.
- Track and keep records for all wine movements and transfers, ensuring compliance of bills of lading.
- Organization and filing of documents such as weigh tags and cellar work orders for easy access and retrieval.
- Assist production and winemaking staff in administrative functions and special projects as needed.
requirements: - Must be very detail oriented.
- Have strong computer skills including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite.
- Solid understanding of algebra.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently is required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Must be available to work overtime during harvest, as required.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment and have a sense of pride in your work. Previous harvest and/or production experience is a plus. A great attitude and passion for all things beverage will help you fit right in!
- Requires work schedule flexibility, especially with Oregon weather.
- The successful applicant must provide their own transportation.

Wage Transparency: The base pay for this role ranges from $23.00 - $27.00 per hour. Compensation will be determined by candidate experience, skills, and location.
