About the Role

The Company is seeking a Group Chief Medical Officer to serve as the Senior Executive Clinical Leader for a network of hospitals. The successful candidate will be responsible for the successful operation of medical staff functions, continuous improvement in safety and quality, and driving accountability and alignment across the medical staff. This role involves serving as a liaison and resource for medical staff engagement, quality, patient safety, and experience, as well as streamlining clinical processes. The Group CMO will also be a change agent leader, driving transformative initiatives and fostering a culture of adaptability and innovation. Candidates for the Group Chief Medical Officer position at the company should have a proven track record in physician leadership, with a background in a health system or major medical group recognized for excellence in clinical care. Business and clinical leadership skills are essential, including experience in quality and utilization management, clinical effectiveness, and a solid understanding of TJC accreditation processes. The role requires a collaborative leader with high personal and professional integrity, committed to the highest quality of patient care. An M.D. or D.O. degree is required, with a preference for an MBA or other advanced management degree, and a Medical License in the applicable state. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, capable of building and leading a team, and will have a significant understanding of performance improvement and quality management programs.
