Job Description & Responsibilities: We are seeking a talented Frontend Developer with a strong focus on accessibility and a proven track record in developing WCAG 2.2 AA compliant applications. The ideal candidate will be proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web Components, and/or building Lightning Web Components working on Salesforce Experience Cloud/Lightning Web Runtime projects. You will be responsible for ensuring our applications are not only visually appealing and user-friendly but also accessible to users of all abilities.
- Develop, test, and maintain responsive web applications with a strong emphasis on accessibility and user experience.
- Implement and adhere to WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines to ensure all web applications are accessible.
- Utilize HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Lightning Web Components to create dynamic and interactive user interfaces.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs into functional and accessible front-end code.
- Conduct accessibility audits and usability testing to identify and address accessibility issues.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Provide expertise and guidance on accessibility standards and best practices to the development team.
- Work on Salesforce Experience Cloud projects, ensuring seamless integration and enhanced user experiences.
Skills & Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Frontend Developer with a focus on accessibility and responsive design.
- In-depth knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines and best practices.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Web Components/Lightning Web Components.
- Experience with accessibility tools and technologies such as screen readers, ARIA, and keyboard navigation.
- Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working on Salesforce Experience Cloud projects.
- Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as SASS.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools.
