Senior Graphic Designer

Key Purpose

The Senior Graphic Designer independently executes the strategic vision of business development 
and general marketing materials through exceptional graphic design for Blocker Education Research, LLC (Blocker Education).

The successful individual will create and maintain materials to 
communicate critical messages and key selling propositions. S/he will self-manage (with excellence) the creative and design process, consistently delivering exceptional product outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong customer focus with a critical mindset and sales drive. S/he 
must be focused on increasing brand recognition, consistency, and accuracy, while collaborating across teams, and clearly communicating vision and purpose.

Success Criteria

• Ability to leverage Microsoft Office applications, and Adobe Creative Suite, to execute exceptional graphic design deliverables
• Ability to generate new, innovative ways to present material that improves business proposals, presentations, social media, and professional learning content
• Ensuring brand consistency throughout various business development materials and projects
• Participating, and embracing, development opportunities

Key Areas of Collaboration and Influence

• Communicate effectively with colleagues across the company so that information is disseminated effectively and participate in project groups and meetings as required
• Collaborate with members of the Marketing, Content Development, and Consulting team regularly
• Promote Blocker Education’s vision

Candidate Experience

• Proven work experience as a graphic designer in high-end graphics, marketing, or production environments utilizing Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite. 
• Strong knowledge of corporate branding, print and digital media, typography, color theory, and various design principles
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
• Exceptional project management, organizational, oral, and written communication skills, and keen attention to details
• Ability to meet rigorous deadlines while exceeding client expectations
• Experience collaborating with a diverse team and understand communication patterns of working with highly distributed teams
