We are hiring a Health Services Director to join the team! - Supervises all healthcare personnel to include hiring, training, evaluating and counseling within established policies and procedures.
- Supervises medication room, the LPN, Nursing Assistant, Medication Assistant/CMA, and Health Services Associate.
- Plans, implements, supervises, and schedules nursing services.
- Provides intervention to respond to emergencies and problems.
- Maintains medical charting and required documentation under scope state regulatory guidelines for appropriate licensing and corporate policies.
- Assesses residents for change in level of care and coordinate billing for that level of care.
- Administers and coordinates medications of residents, serve as community's Registered Nurse, order medication and refills.
- Works closely with residents and families to develop & implement appropriate care plans.
- Assists residents in medical appointments and coordinate required transportation.
- Participates in rotation of on-call duty.
- On occasion, may supervise licensed nurses and nurse's aides.
- Promote the Mission, Vision and Values of Transforming Age in all areas of responsibility.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Our Health Services Director: What you need to succeed!: - Licensed as a Registered Nurse in state of employment.
- Minimum of two years' experience in Nursing.
- Experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care is preferred..
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a consulting role on a regional and facility level.
- Strong leadership and teaching skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products.
Physical Requirements include: - Lifts up to 100 lbs. occasionally
