Role Overview Sodexo is hiring a Food Production Manager 2 for Adventist Health Castle in Kailua , Hawaii . In this hands-on role, you'll lead and mentor a dedicated team, ensuring high-quality food production for patients, staff, and visitors. As a key manager, you'll oversee daily operations, maintain food safety standards, and drive efficiency while fostering a collaborative, team-oriented environment. What You'll Do Procurement: Work with vendors on procurement items. Responsible for purchasing manager and purchasing financial audits. Implement innovative and fresh ideas in retail, catering, and patient services. Deliver high-quality food services including retail, catering, and patient meal management operations. Achieve company and client financial targets and goals. Develop strategic plans. What You Bring A strong culinary background, with the demonstrated ability to stay current with new culinary trends. A strong production culinary background, ideally in an upscale restaurant/retail/catering environment. Menu planning experience and a strong understanding of current culinary trends. A strong understanding of forecasting, food cost management, purchasing, inventory, and labor management concepts. The ability to successfully lead, develop, and train a team. Servsafe certified as well as working knowledge of HACCP and experience with Health and Safety audits.
