MN Delivery Manager Job Description:

Push Pedal Pull is seeking an experienced and extremely detail-oriented Delivery Manager. The Delivery Manager will oversee the delivery operations of fitness equipment to both residential and commercial clients in Minnesota. This role is responsible for ensuring that all deliveries are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of customer satisfaction. The Delivery Manager will manage a team of delivery drivers, coordinate with the logistics team, and ensure that all deliveries are executed efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, an analytical mindset, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of delivery drivers, ensuring high levels of performance and professionalism.
  • Scheduling & Coordination: Plan and schedule deliveries, ensuring optimal routes and timely deliveries while minimizing costs.
  • Customer Service: Act as the main point of contact for customers regarding delivery schedules, updates, and any issues that may arise. Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving delivery-related issues promptly and effectively.
  • Logistics Coordination: Work closely with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure accurate and efficient loading, dispatch, and delivery of products.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspect delivery vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition and meet company standards. Ensure that all deliveries meet quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and procedures for delivery operations. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Budget Management: Monitor and manage delivery-related expenses, including fuel, vehicle maintenance, and overtime. Ensure that operations remain within budget.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including schedules, expenses, and customer feedback. Provide regular reports to senior management on delivery performance and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:   Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in delivery, logistics, or operations management, preferably in the fitness equipment industry.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Customer-Focused:   Demonstrated ability to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Organizational Skills:  Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Problem-Solving:   Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and make quick decisions.
  • Technical Skills:  Proficiency in logistics software, routing tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Physical Requirements:  Ability to lift and move heavy fitness equipment as needed.
  • License:   Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to drive commercial box trucks.
  • Ability to travel and do occasional overnight stays
