Job Description

Finance Manager

As a Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial health of our organization. You will be responsible for managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and overseeing the day-to-day financial operations. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial processes. This is an onsite role at their office in Merced, CA.

Key Responsibilities of Finance Manager

  • Manage all aspects of financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial plans in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support overall company goals and objectives.
  • Supervise and mentor finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Oversee financial audits and provide recommendations for process improvements.

Qualifications of Finance Manager

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA and CPA preferred.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in a financial management role, with demonstrated success in financial planning and analysis.
  • Strong proficiency in financial software applications and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
