Job Description
At our company, the Banking team strives to establish Cash App as the premier banking choice, ensuring simplicity, accessibility, and relatability in financial services. We are seeking a talented Finance & Strategy Senior Analyst to join our Banking Finance team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with business units to drive strategic planning, support growth initiatives, and provide critical financial insights. Your contributions will play a pivotal role in shaping strategy and optimizing financial performance for our banking products.
This position, similar to an Associate level at other firms, offers flexibility with remote work options across the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Drive strategic planning: Forecast and analyze financial performance, manage forecasting models, and communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Enable data-driven decisions: Conduct analyses to evaluate cost/benefit trade-offs and financial impacts of new products.
- Enhance performance visibility: Prepare reports and ad-hoc analyses for product teams, executive leadership, investor relations, and the board to facilitate understanding of business performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with Product, Partnerships, and Data Science teams to support decision-making processes.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- 2-4 years of experience, ideally in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or Strategic Finance within fintech, payments, or high-growth tech sectors.
- Proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets, with the ability to develop and manage financial models independently.
- Strong business acumen and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with team members at all levels.
- Preferred:
- Interest or experience in fintech, banking, or payments.
- Familiarity with SQL or a strong willingness to learn.
