Job Description

The Golden Touch Group is a family-owned and operated wholesale apparel manufacturer with a mission to deliver trend-focused products for nearly 50 years. We produce private label brands for large mass-market retailers across the globe specializing in children's, junior, missy, and women's apparel.

PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT a Marketing position.

Responsibilities:
  • Understand the commercial print market for juniors apparel
  • Versatility to create on-trend looks for juniors and missy apparel for several different clients in same season
  • Responsible for creating original art and putting prints into repeat, and cleaning prints
  • Feminine hand - with ability to create statement florals
  • Versatile design hand with range of style
  • Ability to match color precisely
  • Capable of taking and following direction from manager
  • Proactively seek out opportunities and projects


Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Apparel Design
  • Experience: 3+ years of full-time professional CAD / Graphic design experience in the apparel industry
  • Excellent sense of style and color
  • In-depth knowledge of print repeats, print cleaning and creating prints
  • Excellent organizational, time management, communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize different types of work independently
  • Ability to provide quick turn around time with the work
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Expert knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator Skills. Ned Graphics a plus.

Salary range: $65K - $85K*

*As a private company, Golden Touch may pay more or less than the published upper limit of the pay range based on an individual's demonstrated experience and expertise in their field. The pay ranges serve as a target and allow us to consider relevant experience, time in the role, salaries of internal peers, business sector, prior performance, and geographic location.
