About the Internship

Printfresh is looking for a bright and motivated Design Intern.

As a Design Intern at Printfresh, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the world of design, production, and product development. You will work closely with our design team to support the development and execution of new product. This internship will provide valuable insights into the fashion industry.

Responsibilities

Take part in photoshoots and steam, organize, and prepare samples 

Assist in fittings, support technical designer as needed to review and measure incoming samples, prepare fitting notes to submit to vendors

Shipping and receiving of product development and sample packages

Maintain internal library of products, swatches and trims

Support with various research projects

Prepare garments for tradeshows

Manage sample organization + fabric archive

Support designers and design coordinator with a variety of administrative tasks related to design

Assist in setting up moodboards and pulling concept inspiration images as needed

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Fashion, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.

Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Proficiency in Google Sheets & Google Slides.

Passion for fashion and a keen eye for design and aesthetics.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Self-motivated and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

This is a paid internship- $8-12/hr depending on experience and skill level.

This is a part time internship, to be completed in person.

Interns must be available 2 days a week, up to 3 days/week on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday (our core in-office days)
