Job Description: As a Commercial Flooring Installer with Masters Petersens Flooring & Design, you will be tasked with the installation of diverse flooring types in various commercial settings such as educational institutions, healthcare facilities, retail locations, and office spaces. This position demands a high level of skill, efficiency, and the ability to manage projects that vary in scope and complexity.
Responsibilities: •Conduct site preparation for the installation of LVT, LVP, carpet, sheet vinyl, and VCT, ensuring all surfaces meet company standards for quality and safety.
•Measure and cut flooring materials accurately, adhering to all architectural drawings and specifications.
•Install sheet vinyl and VCT in addition to LVT, LVP, and carpet with attention to detail and adherence to set timelines.
•Utilize specialized tools and equipment for cutting, fitting, and laying flooring.
•Collaborate effectively with project managers and other team members to ensure deadlines are met and installations are completed to the highest standards.
•Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations during on-site work.
•Provide excellent customer service, addressing client queries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications: •Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial flooring installation, with extensive knowledge in LVT, LVP, carpet, sheet vinyl, and VCT.
•Expertise in handling large-scale commercial projects.
•Proficient in reading and interpreting complex blueprints and technical documents.
•Excellent teamwork and communication skills, capable of working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
•High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in flooring installation or a related field is preferred.
