We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to lead the culinary team at our upcoming restaurant in Pekin, IL. This exciting opportunity involves curating a seasonal menu that showcases the best of local ingredients and flavors, ensuring a dynamic dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a creative and innovative seasonal menu that aligns with the restaurant's vision and concept.
• Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain high-quality standards.
• Manage kitchen staff, scheduling, and training to achieve operational excellence.
• Demonstrate strong financial acumen by controlling food costs, maintaining budgetary guidelines, and maximizing profitability.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and uphold sanitation standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a high-volume setting.
• Expertise in menu development, culinary creativity, and a passion for seasonal, farm-to-table cuisine.
• Strong financial knowledge to manage budgets, analyze P&L statements and contribute to overall profitability.
• Background in banquets and catering is preferred.
• A culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
